HOW TO FEST
MdFF is five days of film, conversation, and community across the SNF Parkway Theatre and venues throughout Baltimore. This guide covers the practical details like venues, accessibility, and a few pro tips, so you can plan with ease and make the most of your time at the festival.
ACCESSIBILITY
Venue Accessibility
All film venues have wheelchair accessible entries, exits, and restrooms.. Festival staff are happy to provide needed assistance. For assistance, please check in with staff when you arrive at the venue. Persons with disabilities may arrive at a venue and/or enter a venue early if needed, either to be seated (if you have a ticket).
Wheelchair Seating
All film venues have wheelchair seating available. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Check in with the staff when you arrive at the venue. Companion seating is available at all SNF Parkway theaters; all companions must have a ticket.
Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs)
Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) are available at the SNF Parkway to amplify film audio for guests who are deaf or hard of hearing.
Our headphones amplify the sound directly from the film’s audio system. Devices are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To request, please speak with venue staff before the screening begins. We recommend arriving early to ensure availability and allow time for setup.
If you have questions about availability at a specific venue or would like to make arrangements in advance, please contact us at boxoffice@snfparkway.org.

CONNECTING
MdFF is more than just a bunch of screenings, it’s an opportunity to connect with filmmakers, swap perspectives with fellow attendees, and leave the theater with new questions (and maybe a few new friends).
Here are a few easy ways to engage:
- Stay for the Q&A and ask a question (or just listen and learn).
- If speaking up in a crowd isn’t your thing, try a one-on-one hello after the screening. A sincere thank you, plus what resonated, is often a filmmaker’s favorite feedback.
- Keep the conversation going outside the theater or at a nearby gathering.
- Turn to the person next to you and share what the film stirred up.
- Be curious, be generous, and know that everyone is here because they care about film.
However you show up: with a question, a comment, or a simple thank you, you’re part of the good vibes at MdFF.
