Short films are at the heart of MdFF. Each year, we spotlight the cutting edge of moving-image storytelling through curated shorts programs that surprise, challenge, and delight. With more than 110 short films across genres and styles, these dynamic blocks offer a concentrated look at emerging voices and unforgettable ideas — best experienced together in a room full of fellow film lovers.
